Dr. Jeffrey Coster, an Alexandria native, completed his medical training in Philadelphia and returned to Alexandria in 1985. He became board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in 1988 and is a Fellow of the College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.As an active member of the medical staff at Inova Alexandria Hospital, Dr. Coster has been Chief of the Podiatry section from 1990-2015 and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alexandria Health Enterprise Group from 1996-98. He currently is a member of Inova Alexandria Hospital’s medical executive and credential committees. Dr. Coster is currently Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the INOVA Alexandria Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Coster enjoys outdoor activities, especially tennis, golf, and basketball.
